To get your guitar sounding great again we offer 3 main services. 

1) Re-String & Clean

If you have not had your strings changed in a while, this one is for you!

6 string guitars

12 string guitars                                 

£25 + strings

String prices start at £8. We can provide a wide range of quality strings, including D'addario, Elixir, Martin, ErnieBall & RotoSound. We will advise what strings best suit your instrument, but feel free to bring along your own! 

2) Essential Setup

Something not sounding right but you can't put your finger on it? You need a Notebook Acoustic Essential Setup!

6 string guitars                                  

£40  + strings

12 string guitars                                 

£60 + strings

Often the expense of a Full Service with many new parts is not required. The essentials just need taking care of.

Neck relief, nut slots, bridge saddle! Getting those things right is what an Essential Setup is all about.

3) Full Service & Setup  

For guitars that are pretty much unplayable, you will need this!

6 string guitars

12 string guitars                                

£95 + strings/parts

Our 'Full Service & Setup' tackles wide ranging setup issues and a service of all guitar components to get your instrument sounding its best again, and includes:

• Neck relief adjustment
• Nut slot measurement and adjustment for optimum 1st fret action.
• Bridge saddle height adjustment
• Frets polished
• 'No Buzz' action setup.
• Intonation setup
• Electrical component service 
• Re-string and deep clean 
• Service record card supplied with all new setup measurements detailed

If during the service and setup we find that additional items of repair are recommended or desirable, we will call you immediately to discuss your options.

Anything Else We Can Help With?

We have years of experience working with a wide range of both acoustic and electric guitars and can help with repairs or replacements of the following:

• Pickups - acoustic and electric
• Machine Heads/Tuners
• Jack sockets, switches, pots and wiring
• Nuts - adjustment, or bespoke build
• Bridge and Bridge saddle repairs
• Frets - dressing & levelling, 
• Neck and headstock repairs
• Minor bodywork repairs
• Work on other stringed instruments undertaken: Ukulele's, Mandolins, Banjo's etc.

We will be happy to prepare a specific quote for you for any of the above.

Beyond the basics of re-stringing and servicing, repair prices can vary greatly depending on the detailed extent of the work you require and the price point of either standard or premium repair components you wish us to use. 

So we would love to hear from you to discuss what specific repairs you require, and to examine the instrument.

We will then be able to quickly offer advice on the repair options available to you, and give you your tailored repair quotation.

At all stages of a repair, you will be kept informed of progress being made.
